Carpets Falmer

Carpets Falmer

Would you like your Falmer floors to be carpeted with woollen, polypropylene or blended carpets? What carpet material would best suit your Falmer family’s needs?

Perhaps you aren’t too sure what difference the various yarns make to a carpet. Not to worry, let the Flooring HUT be your guide.

Polypropylene

If your Falmer household includes children or pets and you want easy to clean carpets then a polypropylene carpet is a good choice for you. Carpets made from this synthetic, manmade fibre can be readily treated with stain resistant solutions to offer a higher degree of stain resistance. These carpets are often slightly more affordable than wool carpets.

  • Wool
This natural, environmentally friendly fibre produces durable carpets for your Falmer home with a longer life span. The fibres have a natural elasticity that is resilient to foot traffic, bouncing back into shape after being compressed underfoot. Wool carpet is not as resistant to spills and stains as synthetic carpe, but this can be combatted by the stain resistant coatings that are available.
  • 80/20 blend
This 80% wool / 20% synthetic blend is a popular mix for British made carpets which combines the resilience of wool with the easily cleaned nature of synthetic fibres.

We only sell carpets from leading manufacturers so you can be assured that whatever the composition of your new carpet it will be a quality product for you and your Falmer based family to enjoy for years to come.
